Boudoir can be challenging, but also fun and rewarding for both photographer and client. Ultimately the end goal is the same for both, to create beautiful SEXY images, that they can be proud off.

My aim is for you to look at your images and think 'wow' is that me?! did I really do that?!

WHAT TO WEAR

WHAT TO WEAR?

Deciding what to wear can be daunting and can lead to a few sleepless nights!

Stick with neutral or pastel tones such as black, white, red, nude or soft pastels. Bring a variety of outfits and I can help you decide. Bring something that reminds you of your partner like a work shirt, football shirt, whatever it may be! Making these look sexy is what I do!

A silk or lace robe is always good to bring and can make you feel less exposed as we begin the shoot. Bring a variety of shoes if you have them, remember to wipe them down! Jewellery is a must so bring a few special pieces.

For the beach shoots, anything goes....bikini, underwear, a floaty dress, gown, white shirt, whatever you feel comfortable in. Bring warm clothes, towel and hot drink!

MAKE UP

THE MAKE UP

NO spray tans, it will be patchy and will show in your images. It will mean a lot of retouching of your images in order to get an even skin tone. I usually advocate getting your make up done by a professional, plus what a lovely treat before the shoot. Oh, remember those lashes, they work beautifully in a boudoir shoot!

GORGEOUS HAIR

ITS ALL ABOUT THE HAIR!

The bigger the better, lots of volume! If you decide on a hairdresser, let her know the type of shoot your doing and she can give you the best style.

Curls are always lovely (if you feel comfortable with them) loosely pinned to take the hair from your face, but equally can be removed to let your hair move more freely. No harsh hair up do's, the more natural looking the better.

IT'S ALMOST TIME

Yaay, its nearly time!

Your feeling the nerves, am I right??

The night before the shoot try and relax and get your beauty sleep. Avoid the temptation of alcohol, we want you looking and feeling your absolute best.

Try to avoid tight clothing on the morning/day of the shoot, we don't want those marks and indents on your skin.

Please remember that we all have parts of our bodies that we don't like, try to focus on the positives and discuss with me what you like or don't like. Let me help you feel confident and comfortable. We want you to have fun, and not feel completely out of your comfort zone.

Own it, show it and flaunt it! lets have some fun!!!

BE BOLD, BE BEAUTIFUL!
